Thoralby has got to be the Yorkshire Dales best kept secret, hidden right in the centre of the National park and offers an abundance of walks right on the doorstep . It is the perfect base for exploring the surrounding Dales.
There are many magnificent places to visit, the market towns of Hawes and Leyburn are easily accessed by car along with one of Wensleydales famous beauty spots of Aysgarth Falls being only 1 mile away.
Other attractions include The Wensleydale Creamery, Forbidden Corner and the historic Castle Bolton just to name a few places within easy reach from Thoralby.
The village is home to The George Inn, a typical Yorkshire Dales pub serving a choice of ales, good wholesome food and all whilst sitting by the open fire. A little further, the award winning Wensleydale Heifer is just a short car ride away.

The Granary offers luxurious accommodation in a wonderful setting for up to 4 people in 2 bedrooms all on one floor and within easy reach of the village green. Each room has fantastic views of the surrounding hills and provides our guests with a little taste of luxury along with all of the home comforts such as Wifi and smart TV.
The kitchen is fully fitted with fridge freezer, washer/dryer, electric oven, hob and microwave.
The spacious lounge/dining room has dual aspect with large leather sofa, flat screen smart TV and 6 seater dining table.
There is a king size brass bed in bedroom 1 and the large second bedroom has a zip and link bed which can be made as 2 single beds or a super king double.
Recently purchased by award winning hoteliers Rob and Sara Keane, The Granary is undergoing extensive refurbishment to ensure our guests receive the best possible experience during their stay.
There is also a large south facing garden that is a perfect sun trap and ideal for those summer barbecues whilst sipping a cold glass of Chardonnay. Off road parking is available along with the use of a single garage.
